After a very deep sleep we forced ourselves to wake up so that we can sleep and get accustomed to the time difference quicker. It was time for dinner. We went for a stroll to find a famous secret hamburger place. The streets are lined with illuminating christmas trees and theres a block guarded by toy soldiers which make it very christmassy. There is LITERALLY a police officer and most of the time a NYPD cop car at every single intersection.
We found the hamburger place which is inside a tiny corner of a fancy hotel. we only found it because we saw the line stretching out from a side alley past reception. The place is PACKED and they only sell 2 things- hamburger, or cheeseburger. They were really really juicy and saucy and super mustardy- soooo good and we actually got a seat.
As we were walking back home we decided to get a coffee and some pastry dessert and eat it at the time square TKTS square. We found a Diner that had huge lights saying 'CAPPUCINO' and they had every type of chocolatey dipped sweetness bread and gooey caramel and we ordered 3 cappucino's, a chocolate croissant (which is more like a crispy super chocolate biscuit) and a Oreo Browny (which is like a million oreo's smooshed so friken densely to prove the theory of black holes- and than covered in oreo cream). We got the cappucino's which tasted exactly like the morning coffee's, only this time they had put cinnamon into them (to hide the meat smell?? WTF?). When i asked for sugar the waiter replied promptly 'absolutely ill bring you some', and he came back with about 3kg of sugar satchels- i seriously could have put 25 sugars in each coffee- i took 3 sugars and gave the rest back.
Than, despite my strongest protests, the girls found an accessory store and decided we didnt buy enough shit today.
i can only imagine daisy loving the cinnamonny flavored coffee... NOT
